Description:
The Skullerz 8977 Type 2 Safety Helmet is a Class C Safety Helmet with a 6-Point suspension and an EPS foam interior halo for all-around impact protection. This helmet provides heavy-duty, yet lightweight and comfortable head protection designed to shield the front, back, top and sides of the head from falls, dropped objects or bumping into stationary objects. Compared to 4-Point suspension systems, the 6-Point suspension better disperses the force of an impact. The compact helmet design improves visibility and a chin strap ensures the helmet remains secure to the wearer's head upon impact or during sudden movement such as a slip, trip or fall.
- Meets penetration and front, side and rear impact testing requirements for improved all-over protection.
- Included chin strap secures helmet in place upon falling or sudden impact/movement and meets design, strength and effectiveness requirements.
- Fits most heads (hat sizes 6.5 to 8, 21" to 25").
- Adjustable venting and flexible open frame with 6-Point suspension improves air circulation; one-handed adjustment knob pivots to improve fit and clear bandana or ponytail knots.
- Lightweight, minimalistic EPS foam ring inside shell for all-around impact protection.
- Includes removable hard hat sweatband and top pad made of breathable, sweat-wicking and odor-resistant, machine washable materials.
- Included Skullerz 8987 Rechargeable LED Headlamp snaps into integrated patent-pending headlamp slots on front or rear (additional lights sold separately).
- Headlamp modes feature boost for maximum lighting, spotlight for distance viewing or wide-beam floodlight for close wide-angle viewing.
