From the clever use of one of their ventilation products to a leading producer in office organization, office display and chair mats, Deflecto has been advancing forward for more than 50 years.
Deflecto is named after its initial product- a line of air deflectors that help redirect air and improve ventilation. When an employee began using the magnetic deflectors on filing cabinets to store papers, it led to the creation of the wall pocket. This launched Deflecto's line of office products, from wall files and desk accessories to literature and sign holders. Deflecto is also the largest producer of chairmats in the world.
Deflecto started in 1960 and is based out of Indianapolis. Along with office supplies, Deflecto also produces air distribution products and reflectors.
